A holiday to Cornwall is always a great idea for so many reasons. From the lush landscape to the friendly locals, whatever type of holiday you’re looking for I am sure there is something for you here. I have been fortuante enough to visit Cornwall countless times now and I always look forward to getting back there. It’s such an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, the bonus is that it’s in England so there’s no flights to book or delays to contend with!
If you haven’t been to Cornwall yet for a holiday then what are you waiting for? With summer just around the corner there’s no better time to be planning your trip. There’s something for any type of holiday; couples, family, backpacker and friends. I love booking our place in a holiday park in Cornwall.
So if you are not sure why I and thousands of others choose to head off to Cornwall for a break, here are 3 great reasons why you should be booking your trip right now!
We all know that the British weather can sometimes be unpredictable but that doesn’t matter to cornwall, because it is beautiful in the sunshine of when the grey clouds set in. I even find the place to be more beautiful when the clouds are over head, it really compliments its beauty and makes the views even more dramatic.
If you’re looking for comfort food then Cornwall is the place to be! Ok, so the food isn’t exactly ideal if you’re trying to stick to a strict budget but it certainly goes down well if the weather is cold. We’ve all tried a Cornish pastie, but haven’t really tried on unless you’ve eaten it in Cornwall. There there are also the fish and chips, cream teas and much more to keep your taste buds in overdrive.
Usually locals in such popular destinations can be a little cold but you won’t find that in Cornwall, the people are absolutely fantastic! You’ll get a warm welcome wherever you go and always feel a friendly vibe. It’s the opposite of my hometown of London and that’s why it’s so refreshing to come here for a holiday.
